Pierre-Yves Gillier, Senior Solutions Architect in the Startup Organization for AWS.

Following CS studies and a first job as web developer in early 2000's, Pierre-Yves moved to a sysadmin role at MGN and started to grow a beard. Development was not left behind and PHP, and now Python, are his preferred languages.

For almost fifteen years, Pierre-Yves helped many large-scale companies, mainly in banking and insurance verticals, deploy and operate java based solutions for their end customers. In 2016, following a lunch, he pivoted to the startup ecosystem and discovered the AWS cloud offering. His beard grew a little more during his tenure at Claranet where he applied startup logic to major accounts.

Since 2022, he's deploying his talents as a Senior Solutions Architect for AWS, helping startups being efficient on AWS cloud.
